The first domestic satellite of Armenia, Armsat-1, developed by the Bazoomq Space Research Laboratory and the Center for Scientific Innovation and Education, crossed the Karman line (the conventional boundary of space at an altitude of 100 km) for the last time and completed its mission. The World Bank (WB) has worsened its forecast for Armenia's GDP growth in 2025 from the previous 5% to an updated 4% (from the actual 5.9% in 2024), expecting some acceleration in 2026 to 4.2% (against the previously announced 4.6%). This is noted in the April WB economic review for the Europe and Central Asia region "Accelerating growth through entrepreneurship, technology, and innovation". |

ArmInfo. The four largest telecom operators in Armenia sent 7.5 billion drams to the state treasury in the first quarter of 2025, which is 6.3% less than the figure for the previous year. Of this amount, 94.7 million drams were paid in customs duties, 1.9 billion in direct taxes (including profit tax, income tax) and 3.9 billion in VAT. This is evidenced by data from the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia. |

Of this amount, 85.5% or 23.8 billion drams were paid in direct taxes, with an annual growth of 26%. This is evidenced by the data of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia. |

No dollar transactions were carried out during this period, and euro transactions have not been carried out for a month and a half.
