ArmInfo. The Armenian Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has made it possible for pensioners to apply for a bank card online. Furthermore, the ministry promises to  distribute bank cards to pensioners with limited mobility. This was  announced by Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Arsen Torosyan on  February 5 during a briefing, responding to a question from ArmInfo.

ArmInfo.   Not a single public multiplex company will be profitable in 2025? This was stated by Tigran Hakobyan, Chairman of the National Television and Radio  Commission (NTRC), during a press conference on February 5.

ArmInfo.  The State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia is proposing amendments to the Tax Code that will address issues facing businesses regarding value-added tax  (VAT) and income tax payments.

ArmInfo. . Residents of Armenia who have turned 100 or will turn 100 this year will receive a one-time payment of 1 million drams (slightly over $2,500). The  corresponding decision was made at a government meeting on February  5.

ArmInfo. Converse Bank has successfully completed the initial placement of Armleasing's debut dram-denominated  bonds worth 1 billion drams in just one day, as noted in a statement issued by Converse Bank, the underwriter of the issue.

ArmInfo. Russia is the only country  with its own proven technology for reprocessing irradiated nuclear fuel among those with practical experience in small modular reactors (SMRs).  Boris Martsinkevich, editor-in-chief of the analytical journal GeoEnergetika Info, made this statement  during a Moscow-Yerevan-Minsk-Tashkent-Sukhumi video conference on "Current Energy Issues," while addressing a question from ArmInfo.

ArmInfo.  Armenia intends to become an associate member of the International Bureau of Weights and Measures and a corresponding member of the International  Organization of Legal Metrology. At its February 4 meeting, the NA  Committee on Economic Affairs approved the draft letters of agreement  submitted by the RA government for ratification.

ArmInfo.  In Armenia, court decisions should not affect the tender process for selecting a  gambling operator, as stated by Rafael Gevorgyan, Deputy Chairman of  the State Revenue Committee, at a meeting of the RA NA Committee on  Economic Affairs on February 4.

ArmInfo.  The net inflow of private transfers to Armenia in January-December 2025 increased by 8.6% (compared to a 9% decline in 2024), exceeding $1.6 billion.   Moreover,  non-commercial transfers also experienced a positive  trend,  shifting from a 35% decline to a 25% increase, reaching  $714.1 million in absolute terms. The share of the latter in the  total net inflow rose from 38% to 44% over the year (compared to 53%  in 2023 and 67% in 2022), as reported by the Central Bank of the  Republic of Armenia.

ArmInfo. In recent days, publications have appeared in the media regarding the suspension by “Idram” Limited Liability Company of the collection of payments for the services of telecommunication sector operators “Viva Armenia” CJSC, “Ucom” CJSC, and “Telecom Armenia” JSC. Arsen Torosyan, RA Minister of Labor and Social Affairs,  announced these figures  during a working meeting on February 4  initiated by the ruling "Civil Contract' party, citing data from the  Unified Social Services Center. He noted that this significant volume  of  vacancies is driven by numerous complex factors.
