ArmInfo. President Ilham Aliyev's statement that Azerbaijani specialists have studied the possibility of laying new power transmission lines across Armenia  to secure electricity supplies fits entirely into the logic of the venture known as TRIPP. Moreover, this initiative is a risky venture exclusively for Armenia. Energy security expert Vahe Davtyan holds this view.

ArmInfo.  Armenia constantly discusses its excess electricity production, but the  situation may soon change, and the country could face a shortage,  Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated during a briefing on August 13.

The change will take effect on September 5, 2026, and will have a significant positive impact on several thousand families, enabling them to save money and reallocate their household expenses.
