Iran-Armenia power line project 80% finished - minister

ArmInfo.  The construction of the third Iran-Armenia power transmission line is 80% complete. This was stated by David Khudatyan, Minister of Territorial Administration and  Infrastructure (MTAI), during the hearings in the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on the implementation of the 2024 state budget of the Republic of Armenia on June 9.

Georgia bans import of large batch of flowers from Armenia

ArmInfo. Georgia has banned the import of a large batch of seasonal flowers from Armenia, totaling 10,000 flowers. This was reported by the Armenian service of Radio Liberty  with reference to the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia.

USD, RUB transactions down in Armenia`s interbank foreign exchange market June 2 to 6, 2025

ArmInfo. June 2 to 6, 2025, in Armenia's interbank foreign exchange market, USD and RUB transactions  showed a decline, with no EUR transactions effected for two months.  RUB transactions showed an 88.4% decline against an 8.6% growth the previous week. USD transactions showed an 8% decline against a 37% growth. The total amount of USD transactions exceeded that of RUB transactions 1.4-fold, whereas the total volume of RUB transactions exceeded that of USD ones 6-fold.
