ArmInfo. Armenia's gross international reserves (GIR) in January 2025 decreased by 6.5% per  annum or $231.3 million, exceeding $3.344 billion, which was observed in the same period of 2024 - a decline of 3.1% or $113.6 million - to $3.576 billion. In January of this year alone, GIR decreased by 9.2% (or $340.1 million).

The draft resolution of the Government of the  Republic of Armenia has been posted on the  unified portal of legal acts. It should be noted that according to  the Concept on the introduction of General Health Insurance (GHI),  the collection of funds for GHI, determination of the amount of  contributions and expenses will be carried out by this Fund, the  chairman of the board of which will be the Minister of Health of the  Republic of Armenia.

The closure of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) will directly benefit Armenia's energy policy, according to political scientist Vahe Davtyan.  "It is obvious that the closure of USAID  will inevitably lead to a decrease in the dynamics of liberalization of Armenia's energy policy. And I believe this is a positive development," the expert noted.
