ArmInfo. In the first half of 2024, the annual growth rate of Armenian wine exports slowed down  from 17.6% to 3.6%, with a volume of 2.1 million liters. At the same time, the customs value increased by 10.1% - to $ 8.3 million. This is evidenced by the data of the Customs Service of the Republic of Armenia. 

ArmInfo. In Armenia, economic activity growth in January- November 2024 slowed to 7.4% per annum (from 14.4% in the same period of 2023). This is evidenced by preliminary data from the RA Statistical Committee, according to  which the dynamics of exports and imports also began to deteriorate.

ArmInfo. The Minister of Finance of Armenia explained the reasons for the unprecedented tax arrears of more than $500 million.

ArmInfo. The Armenian Ministry of Finance believes that the problems in the country's IT sector are not related to taxes, but rather to a shortage of qualified personnel.  This was stated by the head of the department, Vahe  Hovhannisyan, at a final press conference on December 25. He recalled  that the department had previously opposed the initiative to reduce  income tax for IT companies to 10%. , he  explained.

ArmInfo. The Armenian Ministry of Finance has once again lowered its GDP growth expectations for 2024 - from 5.8% to 5-5.5%. This was announced by Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan at a final press conference on December 25. Meanwhile, the approved budget for the current year envisaged the  figure at 7%, and in September the forecast was revised to 5.8%.
