ArmInfo.At its June 4 meeting, the RA Government recognized a number of structures on the road  connecting Isakov and Arshakunyats Avenues as being of priority public interest.

ArmInfo. The U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) Board of Directors today approved $2.5 billion in new strategic investments aimed at strengthening U.S. supply chains, expanding U.S. energy exports, supporting regional peace and stability, and bolstering economic cooperation, including an investment in a new Indo-Pacific investment platform representing DFC's single largest project investment. These deals reflect DFC's continued use of private capital as a core instrument of American economic statecraft, deploying debt, equity, and political risk insurance across the capital stack and investment structures to advance U.S. strategic?objectives.

ArmInfo.Armenian authorities are currently negotiating the supply of foreign fuel and are carrying out uncoordinated work with Western contractors. This was stated by Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu.

ArmInfo.Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statement that a referendum on membership in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) will not take place until Armenia applies for EU membership reflects an obvious reluctance to hold such a referendum. This was stated by Russian Security Council Secretary  Sergei Shoigu.

ArmInfo.  Aram Jivanyan, Chairman of Armenia's Military- Industrial Complex (MIC) Committee, announced today that his agency has launched a close collaboration with the General Staff of the Armed Forces to systematically  inventory the military's most urgent  needs.  Jivanyan shared the  update during a panel discussion at the RISE exhibition and forum.

Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, the Minister of High-Tech  Industry, announced the milestone on June 3 during the opening of the  RISE forum and exhibition.

ArmInfo.  Tomas Kairys has been appointed as the new Head of the European Bank for Reconstruction and  Development (EBRD) Office for the Caucasus. According to an official statement issued by the EBRD, his appointment will take effect on September 1, 2026.  Based in Tbilisi, Georgia, Kairys will oversee all EBRD operations across the Caucasus region. This leadership appointment follows a long and distinguished career within the Bank.

ArmInfo. The annual inflation rate in Armenia eased slightly to 4.2% in May 2026, down from 4.3% during the same period last year, according to data released by the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia. This modest deceleration was driven by slower year-on- year price growth in food  (6.5% vs. 7.2% last year) and services (2.7% vs. 3.1% last year).  Conversely, non-food prices rose by 2.1%, reversing a 0.1% decline  recorded the previous year.
