ArmInfo.Almost all organizational issues, except for personnel, have been resolved in the "Construction of a new nuclear power unit" company created by the decision of the RA government. This  was stated by Gnel Sanosyan, the RA Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, during the government hour in the National Assembly on November 13.

ArmInfo. Acba bank and American Express have announced an expansion of their long-standing agreement which grants Acba the license to issue American Express Cards and acquire American Express-accepting merchants. Acba bank has been American Express’ exclusive licensee in Armenia since 2009.

The Armenian economy continues to experience high growth and successfully  withstand international challenges, as stated by Gevorg Papoyan, the Minister of Economy of Armenia, during his speech at the Parliament on November 13.  In this regard, he referred to the indicators  recorded in the first half of 2024, showing a 6.5% growth in Armenia's GDP. The Minister attributed this growth to an increase in added value in several sectors of the economy.

ArmInfo.  The meeting between the head of the Armenian Foreign Ministry and the managing director of Westinghouse Electric Sweden in Stockholm on November 11, once again demonstrated Yerevan's commitment to transition the Armenian "peaceful atom" to Western rails, a move that poses risks to the country's energy security.

ArmInfo. According to the new forecast from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), inflation in  Armenia is projected to be 1% in 2024 compared to the deflationary rate of 0.6%, and then increase to 3.9% in 2025, coming closer to the target of 4%.

ArmInfo. The supply of Russian natural gas to Armenia has been temporarily suspended due to the need to carry out emergency recovery work on the territory of Georgia. This was reported by Gazprom Armenia.

ArmInfo.At a press conference on September 23, Idram announced the launch of its own QR infrastructure. On the same day, it was reported that Evocabank became the first bank to join the Open QR system. Now, Evocabank customers can scan Idram QR codes, installed at more than 22,000 retail locations, and make payments using the EvocaTOUCH app.

ArmInfo.The Ministry of High-Tech Industry of Armenia will provide support for the establishment of multicomponent semiconductor and silicon-photonic microcircuit production in Armenia by Levi Semiconductors PTE, a Singapore based company. The memorandum of cooperation was signed by Ruben Simonyan, Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia, Levon Hovhannisayan, General Director of the , and Sevada Gyurjyan, Director of Levi Semiconductors PTE.

China is ready to closely cooperate with Armenia in the energy sector, and is interested in collaboration in the field of nuclear energy, as stated by Chen Ming, the Charge d'Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in  Armenia, during a conversation with journalists on November 12 at the international conference "Modernization of China: Armenian-Chinese Relations", while responding to a question about whether Yerevan and Beijing are discussing China's assistance to Armenia in the construction of a new Nuclear Power Plant.

ArmInfo. Artificial barriers cannot be created for citizens who have planned to import electric vehicles several months in advance. This was stated on June 12 in the National Assembly of Armenia during discussions on the  draft state budget for 2025 by Arsen Torosyan, a member of the National Assembly from the ruling Civil Contract faction. 

ArmInfo. In 2025, the share of the state budget deficit of Armenia in the country's GDP will be 5.5%. This was stated by the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Armenia Vahe Hovhannisyan during the plenary session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on November 12, answering a question from Artsvik Minasyan, a member of parliament from the opposition faction "Armenia". 

ArmInfo.The Armenian government intends to continue implementing the program to solve the  housing problems of residents of border villages in 2025. This was stated by the RA Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan on November 12 in the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia during the  presentation of the draft state budget of the country for next year.
