The delegation from the Ministry of Economy of Armenia, represented by the department  head Gevorg Papoyan and his deputy Arman Khojoyan, participated in the 45th World Congress of Vine and Wine, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV).

ArmInfo.IDBank and Idram summarize the September program of the "The Power of One Dram" initiative, which supported the "Moonk" technical school established by the "ES" educational foundation in Artsakh in 2022. "Moonk" offers technological education to children in various regions of Armenia. The 4,093,527 drams raised through "The Power of One Dram" initiative will help support the ongoing education of its 400 current beneficiaries and attract over 100 new students from 10 communities in the Syunik and Lori regions.

ArmInfo.The IT sector accounts for approximately 5.5% of Armenia's GDP, which is a relatively high  indicator, comparable to that of developed countries. This assessment of the local IT industry was provided by Hovik Musaelyan, the director of Synopsys Armenia, in an interview with the Shant TV channel.  Additionally, he characterized the industry with indicators such as the number of employees, which is approximately 40,000  people, and an annual growth rate of 25-30%.

In order to solve some existing problems in the sphere of regulation of non-public  investment funds, the Armenian government proposed to make amendments and additions to the Law "On Investment Funds" and a number of related draft laws. The proposal was approved on October 11 at a  meeting of the RA National Assembly Committee on Financial, Credit and Budgetary Issues.

ArmInfo. Armenia will attract loans to finance the deficit of the state budget of the country in 2024. At a meeting on October 11, the Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on Financial, Credit and  Budgetary Affairs approved agreements with the Eurasian Development Bank, the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the French Development Agency.

ArmInfo. Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Hakob Vardanyan, who  oversees the energy sector, confirmed that he submitted his resignation letter to the RA Prime Minister.

ArmInfo.Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia Hakob Vardanyan has been dismissed from his post. The corresponding decision was signed by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on October 11.

ArmInfo. The Chairman of the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) of Armenia has resigned.  The application has already been sent to the parliament, as confirmed  by the press service of the Regulator to an ArmInfo correspondent.  

ArmInfo. The second Armenian-UAE business forum was held at the Abu Dhabi Chamber of  Commerce and Industry. As reported by the press service of the  Armenian Embassy in the UAE, ahead of the forum, a meeting was held  between Haykaz Nasibyan, the head of the Armenian delegation and  Secretary General of the RA Ministry of Economy and Humaid bin Salem,  Secretary General of the UAE Federal Chamber of Commerce.
