ArmInfo. According to taxpayers' settlement documents, including cash register receipts,  532.5 million transactions worth 9 trillion 782.7 billion drams were carried out in Armenia in January-September 2024. This was reported by the State Revenue Committee. 

ArmInfo.The Asian Development Bank (ADB), having revised its April forecast figures for Armenia's macroeconomy, recently raised its GDP forecast for 2024 from 5.7% to 6% and at the same time sharply reduced its forecast for average annual inflation from 3% to 0.8%. ArmInfo's economic observer asked Grigor Gyurjyan,  senior economist at the ADB's Armenian mission, for clarification on the reasons for adjusting the figures in the latest issue of the Asian Development Outlook.

This growth was primarily attributed to existing intra-union factors, high levels of investment activity and strong consumer demand. ArmInfo.Today, there are plans to sign a joint action plan between the Eurasian Economic  Commission (EEC) and the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2024-2026. It aims to enhance commerce and foster economic cooperation. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made this announcement during an  extended meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, currently being held in Yerevan.

ArmInfo.The Ministry of High-Tech Industry of Armenia is proposing to grant four new primary functions to the Military-Industrial Committee. The National Assembly of Armenia adopted amendments to the law <On the military-industrial complex> in the first reading during its session on October 1st.  As the head of the department Mkhitar Hayrapetyan stated when presenting the initiative, this project proposes to grant new functions to the Military-Industrial Committee, which will contribute to the development of the country's military industry.
