ArmInfo. This year, 35 Armenian startups from the Diaspora are participating in the Neruzh5.0 program. This was announced by the Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia Mkhitar Hayrapetyan during the opening ceremony  of the program.

ArmInfo.At a press conference held on September 23, Idram announced the opening of its QR infrastructure to all financial institutions. From now on, the Idram QR code, installed in over 22,000 points of sale, can be scanned using the apps of any financial organizations, banks, and payment companies connected to this unified QR infrastructure.

ArmInfo. The new Corporate Governance Code was presented to the Armenian business community and  other interested parties in Yerevan, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy. The concept of the document was presented at a seminar with the participation of Sevak Mikaelyan, Deputy  Minister of Economy.  During the event, the participants discussed issues related to the enforcement of the Code and the role of corporate governance in improving the investment environment.

ArmInfo. "Telcell", a leading payment settlement company in Armenia, has conducted an initial  issuance of its ordinary non-documentary shares with a volume of 1.540 billion drams (AMD). The issue of shares was launched on September 18 this year, as noted in the prospectus for the share offering.

ArmInfo. A 31-km section of the road connecting Akhaltsikhe with Batumi is already completed in Georgia.  In total, the Georgian authorities need to reconstruct 47 km of the road. By the next beach season, residents of Armenia will be able to reach the Black Sea coast of Georgia through a direct, short route.  As reported by the online platform "Roads of Georgia", once the Khulo-Zarzma road project is completed, the travel time from Batumi to Akhaltsikhe will be reduced by 1.5 hours.

ArmInfo. The customs authority can also complete Declaration of goods for non-personal use being transported across the borders of Armenia in the name of individuals. This is stated in the message of the State Revenue Committee, which has introduced the corresponding legislative changes as part of the customs reform.

The currently  operating power unit N2 of the Armenian NPP not only provides up to  40% of all electricity generated in the country to the energy system,  but also helps solve a number of economic and social problems.
