ArmInfo. Most member  countries continue to display robust growth: the aggregate GDP of the  EDB's region of operations increased by 4.6% YoY in January -June  2024, after an increase of 3.9% in 2023.This is evidenced by the data  of the Macroeconomic Review for 6 member states of the Bank, prepared  by EDB analysts.

ArmInfo. In the first half of  2024, Armenia's IT sector shrank by approximately 13%. The main  reason, according to former Economy Minister Vahan Kerobyan, is the  missed opportunities that were available to us.  

ArmInfo. The Ministry of Economy of Georgia reports that an international study has recognized the project of the underwater energy cable in the Black Sea ("Black Sea Submarine Cable", Black Sea Energy Submarine Cable, BSSC) as promising. ArmInfo. The Armenian Securities  Exchange (AMX) and the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) signed a  memorandum of understanding aimed at establishing mutually beneficial  cooperation and strengthening strategic partnership. The document was  signed on August 13 by AMX CEO Hayk Yeganyan and Abu Dhabi Securities  Exchange Group CEO Abdul Salem Al Nuami.  ADX Chief Operating Officer  Saker Aslan was also present at the signing of the memorandum. This  was noted in the press release of the Armenian Securities Exchange.

ArmInfo. By the end of 2024, the  area of cultivated land in Armenia will increase by more than 14  thousand hectares. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Economy of  the Republic of Armenia Tatevik Sargsyan at a press conference on  August 13.
