According to data from the Statistical Committee of the RA, trade turnover in March alone rose by 14.1%, reaching AMD 550.5  billion ($1.4 billion).

Armenia: Freight transport declines as passenger traffic rises

ArmInfo.In Q1 2026, the volume of freight transport in Armenia decreased by 1.6% compared to the same period in 2025 (against 0.7% growth a year earlier),  totaling 3,408.5 thousand tons. According to data from the Statistical Committee of the RA, this downward trend was driven by a 10.7% decline in dominant road freight volumes, which fell to 2,185.9 thousand tons.
