ArmInfo.Businesses in Armenia will have more opportunities to invest in green technologies thanks to a US$ 10  million (EUR 9.3 million) loan, which the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Green Climate Fund (GCF) are providing to Inecobank for on-lending to corporates and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) for green investments. This is stated in the official statement of the EBRD.

This is stated in the World Bank Beyond Boundaries - Unlocking Potential for a Sustainable Tomorrow report which was presented by World Bank  Senior Specialist Lea Hakim.

ArmInfo.In January-March 2024, state budget revenues amounted to 525 billion drams, against the adjusted  563.1 billion drams and the actual 483.6 billion drams for the same period in 2023. ArmInfo. On May 2, the Agreement on the mutual recognition of documents on academic degrees in the  states of the Eurasian Economic Union came into force, reported by the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

ArmInfo.During 2021-2023, the number of applications for registration of trademarks received under the  national procedure, as well as the number of international applications for registration of trademarks received under the international procedure (Madrid system), increased, according to a report presented to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at the Intellectual Property Office of the Ministry of Economy during a discussion of the report on the department's activities for 2023.

ArmInfo.Armenia's gross international reserves (GIR), after reaching a record $4.220 billion in August 2023, then began to decline monthly, amounting to $3.304 billion by April 1, 2024. On an annual basis, this figure decreased by 11.3% (or by $420.4 million), in while in 2023, annual growth of 26.7% (or $784 million) was recorded, according to the data by the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia.

ArmInfo. Team Telecom Armenia will support  TUMO's mission (TUMO Center for Creative Technologies)  to make modern technology education accessible to all young people in Armenia.

ArmInfo. Armenia will allocate about 2.4 billion drams (approximately $6.2 million) for the annual meeting  of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), which will be held from May 14 to 16. The decision was made on May 2 at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Armenia should abandon the turnover tax; there should be one taxation system in the republic,  Armenia's Premier Nikol Pashinyan stated on May 2 at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, during which legislative amendments were approved, providing for a double increase in the turnover tax rate.

ArmInfo. A regular process for assessing the effectiveness of budget programs will be introduced in  Armenia. At the plenary meeting on May 2, the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia adopted amendments to the law "On the Budget System" in the first reading.
