ArmInfo. Armenia intends to join the e-CMR protocol, which reduces t cargo clearance cost,
eliminates administrative delays and invoice overdue, and also
reduces the number of discrepancies at destinations and promotes
transparency and security at all stages of logistics chains. On
September 9, RA Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and
Infrastructure Armen Simonyan presented to the parliament the draft
Law of the Republic of Armenia on the Contract for the International
Carriage of Goods by Road, concerning the electronic consignment note
(e-CMR).

Their share in the total turnover has increased to 44.4% and 19.5% from 36% and 5.2% a year earlier. This is evidenced by the data of the RA Statistical Committee for January-July 2024.

In 2023, shares of two state-owned companies were privatized, and the Isotope Production Center CJSC was excluded from the "State Property Privatization Program for 2017-2020," as stated by Arnak Avetisyan, head of the State Property Management Committee, in parliament on September 9, while presenting the draft law for the implementation of the program for 2023 in the second reading.

As reported by the press service of the telecommunications company Team Telecom Armenia, Nokia announced today that Team Telecom Armenia has implemented its 25G PON fiber solution, making it one of the first operators in the Caucasus and Central Asia regions to offer the highest internet speeds on the market.

ArmInfo. Armenia's public debt growth rate has decreased from 13.8% to 8% annually, surpassing $12.3
billion (4.8 trillion drams) by August. This was due to a shift in
the trend of external debt growth from 4.1% to a 6% decline and a
slowdown in the increase of domestic debt from 31.2% to 24.5%.
