ArmInfo. The debut issue of three-year EDB bonds, denominated in US dollars, was included in the Armenia Securities Exchange’s (AMX) Abond main list as of 26 October 2023. Prior to that, the exchange’s infrastructure was modernised with a grant provided by the Eurasian Development Bank’s (EDB) Technical Assistance Fund, resulting in more than doubling the total value of listed securities. Nikolai Podguzov, Chairman of the EDB Management Board, made this announcement during his visit to Armenia.

ArmInfo.The banking system of Armenia in Jan-Sept 2023 sent 111.8 billion drams or $284.1 million to the state treasury through taxes, which is 2.4-fold higher than the year-ago. Of this amount, 91.1% or 101.9 billion drams were paid for direct taxes (including profit tax and income tax), with an increase of 2.6-fold over the year, according to the data from the State Revenue Committee.

ArmInfo. From January to August 2023, Armenia's trade turnover with the CIS countries increased by  almost 55% compared to last year. At the same time, exports from Armenia more than doubled. RA Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan stated at a meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS  and the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council on October 26 in Bishkek.

ArmInfo.The state has already provided financial assistance to 97.2 thousand forcibly displaced citizens of Artsakh, of which 24 thousand are children. Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Khachatryan said, answering a question from parliamentarians during government hour on October 25. At the same time, he emphasized that these are not final data.

In this context, he said that Armenia has extended the contract with Iran under the gas-for-electricity agreement until 2030.

ArmInfo.In Armenia, the price index of industrial products decreased in January-September 2023  compared to the same period in 2022 to 101.3% from last year's 104.1%. This was observed against the background of a decline in industrial sector volumes by 0.6% - to AMD 1,800bln ($4.7 billion), while a year earlier an increase of 10% was recorded.
