ArmInfo.  The first shipment of grain from the Volgograd Region was sent to Armenia by freight train via Azerbaijan.

However, excluding microenterprises, SMEs  account for only 19% of GDP (compared to 18% in 2023). ArmInfo. Turkish Airlines (THY) will launch regular flights from Istanbul to Yerevan starting next spring. This was announced by Turkey's Special Representative for Normalization of Relations with Armenia, Serdar Kılıç, on his Twitter account (X).

ArmInfo.  The United States-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce (USACC) convened a high-level Ambassadorial Roundtable on the Trump Route for International Peace  and Prosperity (TRIPP), underscoring the initiative's role as a  central pillar of the United States' renewed strategic engagement  across Central Eurasia.

Political scientist and energy security expert Vahe Davtyan has raised questions regarding the true origin of  a fuel shipment  that arrived  in Armenia from Azerbaijan last week.  According to him,  Azerbaijan  may actually be re-exporting a third-country gasoline to Armenia via  Georgia, gasoline that is imported to Armenia via the Black Sea or Upper Lars, and then through Georgian infrastructure. 

ArmInfo.During his speech at the expanded meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in St. Petersburg, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan  once again thanked Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev (Azerbaijan is not a member of the EAEU - ed.).  Note, that since October of this year, when Baku lifted restrictions on cargo transit to Armenia, Pashinyan has never missed an opportunity to express gratitude to Aliyev for this decision. Words of gratitude were also expressed on the sidelines of the EAEU on December 11.
