ArmInfo. Armenia's ruling Civil Contract Party promises 6% annual average GDP growth if it wins the June 7 parliamentary elections. This was announced by party  leader and RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in a video message on  Facebook.

ArmInfo.  At the Financing for Development Forum held under the auspices of the UN  Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) in New York, Deputy Minister of  Finance Edgar Mkrtchyan spoke about global economic challenges and  presented Armenia's strategic priorities in  modernizing the  international financial system and financing for development.

ArmInfo. Armenia's gross domestic product (GDP) would decline by 15.1%, and inflation would rise by 14.3%, if the country were to leave the Eurasian Economic  Union (EAEU). The main losses would be in the metallurgy, beverage,  tobacco, and food industries, where the decline would amount to up to  a third, Alexey Shevtsov, Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security  Council, told reporters.

Under the new SBA, Armenia may receive the first Stand-By Arrangement from the International  Monetary Fund (IMF) in the amount of approximately $25.3 million (SDR 18.4 million) in June 2026. The agreement is subject to approval by the IMF's Executive Board, scheduled to consider this review in June.

This was stated by Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, during a  meeting with NVIDIA Vice President Rev Lebaredyan and a delegation  from Agile Robots, a company working in the field of AI and robotics,  led by CEO Zhaopeng Chen. Minister of Education, Science, Culture,  and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan also participated in the meeting, which  took place in Engineering City.
