ArmInfo. This year, the 12-month inflation is expected to exceed the 4% target and reach 8.5%, with average inflation to reach 8.1%, with a gradual decline to the  targeted level during next year.  

ArmInfo. The European Fund for Southeast Europe (EFSE) has extended a USD 10 million five-year facility to AraratBank for financing of micro, small and medium businesses (MSMEs) affected by the economic, social, and security challenges triggered by the Russia-Ukraine war, prioritizing those operating in crisis-relevant sectors.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development will provide a $4 million loan to HSBC Bank Armenia, the EBRD said in an official statement.  It is noted that $3 million will be provided directly by the EBRD and $1 million by the Green  Climate Fund (GCF) under the Regional Green Economy Financing  Facility (GEFF).

ArmInfo.Armenia's national debt exceeded $9.992bln by this September - a 12% year-on-year increase, and an 8.3% increase this January-August. Specifically,  Armenia's foreign debt showed a 5.5%, year-on-year decrease, with the  domestic debt showing a 61.1% increase. This January-August,  Armenia's foreign debt showed a 5.4% increase, with the country's  domestic debt showing a 43.7% increase, reaching $6.4bln and $3.7bln  respectively.
