ArmInfo. On August 23, the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission decided to establish and distribute tariff quotas for a number of types of meat products and  whey for 2023. This was reported by the press service of the EEC.

ArmInfo. A new government-assisted employment programme is being launched in  Armenia. Under the programme, employers will receive compensations  for hiring currently unemployed people. 

ArmInfo.The share of the EAEU countries in the foreign trade turnover of Armenia continues to grow, reaching 33.6% (over $1.733 billion) by the end of H1 2022, while the  share of the EU countries has already decreased to 19% ($980.8  million). The y-o-y dynamics of foreign trade volumes in both  directions is upward: the growth with the EAEU countries was 52.5%,  and with the EU countries - 37.6%, against the lower positive trends  of15.3% and 21%, respectively, a year earlier. This is evidenced by  the final data of the RA Statistical Committee.

ArmInfo.As of July 1, 2022, the per capita debt reached $3,400 against $3,000 last year, with per capita foreign debt being $2,200 against $2,300, and per capita  internal debt $1,200 against $740. Armenia's population was 2.962mln  (2,700 fewer that last year).

At the same time, as a result of the  revaluation of the national currency against the US dollar, the  public debt in dram terms decreased by 8.2% or 363.1 billion drams -  up to 4 trillion 067 billion drams.

ArmInfo.The total net profit of insurance companies (ICs) in Armenia for H1 2022 reached 2.3 billion drams ($5.6 million), with a y-o-y  19-multifold increase, with a  quarterly decline of 13.1%, against a y-o-y decline of 2-fold and a  quarterly increase of 2.5-fold in comparable periods in 2021.

According to the data of the Financial Rating of  Insurance Companies of Armenia as of June 30, 2022, prepared by  ArmInfo, following the results of the first half of the year, the net  insurance premiums of "Rossgostrakh Armenia" IC exceeded 5.9 billion  drams ($14.6 million), and net insurance claims - 3.8 billion drams  ($9.4 million), with a y-o-y growth of the net insurance premiums by  11.3%, while the net insurance claims declined by 7.3%.
