At its November 21  session, the National Assembly Committee on State and Legal Affairs  approved the second reading of the draft laws "On Cybersecurity," "On  Public Information," and "On the Information Systems Regulatory  Authority," submitted by the government.

ArmInfo.  Kazakhstan is considering opening a new trade route to Turkey through Armenia. Kazakh Economy Minister Serik Zhumangarin told reporters on November  21.

ArmInfo.  Opportunities for expanding economic relations and deepening Armenian-Polish cooperation were discussed during a meeting on the sidelines of the  Armenian- Polish intergovernmental commission in Warsaw between  Armenian Deputy Minister of Economy Anushik Avetyan and Polish Deputy  Minister of Economic Development and Technology Michal Baranowski.

ArmInfo. Eduard Hakobyan, Chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC), received Marine Legard, the newly appointed Head of Programs for the French  Development Agency (AFD) in Armenia.

ArmInfo.  Kazakh authorities are considering resuming direct flights with Armenia, but this is only possible if Armenia provides subsidies. Kazakh Minister of  National Economy Serik Zhumangarin stated this in a conversation with  journalists on November 21.

ArmInfo. On November 20, RA Ambassador to the U.S.  Narek Mkrtchyan visited the ServiceNow headquarters, where he met with Andrew Danko, Vice President of the  company.

ArmInfo.  The development of e-commerce is of strategic importance for Armenia in terms of expanding economic potential, enhancing competitiveness, and fully  integrating into digital markets. Deputy Minister of High-Tech  Industry of the Republic of Armenia Ruben Simonyan stated this at a  seminar entitled "Approximation of Armenian Legislation in the Sphere  of E- Commerce with EU Requirements."

ArmInfo.  The 8th meeting of the Armenian-Polish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation was held in Warsaw. According to the press service of the Ministry of Economy, the meeting was chaired  by  Deputy Minister of Economy Anushik Avetyan.

ArmInfo. Surveys of metal and other deposits in Armenia are in no way inferior to CRIRSCO and JORC system requirements. Geologist Mesrop Poghosyan expressed this opinion during field-specific discussions on the implementation of CRIRSCO (Minerals and Reserves International Reporting Standards Committee) standards in the Armenian mining industry.

ArmInfo. In the first nine months of 2025, Armenia's GDP amounted to 7.730 trillion drams ($19.9 billion), increasing from 2.537 trillion drams in the second quarter to 3.072 trillion drams in the third quarter.

ArmInfo.  The Armenian government, represented by the Ministry of Economy, proposes  extending the temporary ban on the export of iron and non-alloy  steel, semi-finished iron or non-alloy steel products, steel in alloy  ingots or other primary forms, refined copper and unwrought copper  alloys, unwrought aluminum, aluminum powders and flakes to third  countries, and defining the procedure and conditions for issuing  export licenses. The draft decision is posted on the Unified Portal  of Legal Acts.

ArmInfo.  The net private transfer inflow to Armenia in January- September 2025 reversed its annual trend, shifting from a 33.3% decline to a 15.5% increase,  totaling $1.02 billion. Moreover, for non-commercial transfers, the  annual net inflow trend also reversed, moving from a 40.4% decline to  a 25% increase, exceeding $523 million in absolute terms. The share  of the latter in the total net inflow rose over the year from 47% to  51% (compared to 67% in 2022), according to data from the Central  Bank of Armenia.

ArmInfo.  The Armenian Ambassador to Greece, Tigran Mkrtchyan, discussed the potential  for developing bilateral economic and business ties with the Chair of the  Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Yannis Bratakos.

ArmInfo.  Compared to the same period last year, Armenia's GDP growth in Q3 2025 was 6.2%. Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan shared this information  on his Facebook page.

ArmInfo. Idram continues to strengthen its leading position in Armenia’s financial sector. By the decision of the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia, “Idram” LLC has been granted a permit to create and operate the national payment and settlement QR system “IdramNet.”

ArmInfo.  On November 20, at its regular meeting, the Armenian government decided to acquire the third and final stake in the EU-Armenia SME Fund as part of long-term  economic development programs.
