ArmInfo.In Armenia, economic activity in January-April 2022 increased by 9.4% per annum, against the backdrop of growth in exports and imports by 25.2% and 39.1%,  respectively, which was observed at a relatively restrained pace in  the same period a year ago - the growth of economic activity by 2.6%  was accompanied by the growth of exports and imports by 16.7% and  2.2%, respectively.

Within the framework of the World Economic Forum held in Davos, on May 24, CEO of the Warsaw Stock Exchange Marek Dietl and CEO of the Armenian Stock Exchange Hayk Yeganian, in the presence of President of the Republic of  Armenia Vahagn Khachaturian and President of the Republic of Poland  Andrzej Duda, signed a Letter of intent on the acquisition of 65.03%  of the shares of the Armenian Stock Exchange by the Warsaw Stock  Exchange, the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia reports.

ArmInfo.On its May 24 sitting, the Board of the Central Bank of Armenia gave its consent to the acquisition of the Armenia Securities Exchange   by the Warsaw Stock  Exchange. As noted in the message of the Central Bank, according to  the agreement, theWarsaw Stock Exchange (GPW) will acquire 65.03% of  shares of the Armenia Securities Exchange   (AMX) (967 shares in  total).

Armenian Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan announced this on his Facebook page.  In  particular, according to him, as of April 2022, the number of jobs in  the country's labor market amounted to 664,736, which is 6.1% higher  than the indicator of a year ago, and in comparison with 2020 - by  21.4%.

In an interview with RIA Novosti,  Grigoryan said that the parties managed to reach consensus on a  number of issues, but there are also disagreements.
