Armenia`s insurance sector`s profit decreased sharply

ArmInfo.The profit of the insurance sector of Armenia decreased by 79.2% in 2021 - to 849.4 million drams ($1.8 million), while for  Q4 alone it decreased by  60.1%.

ArmInfo. In 2021, 36,585 children were born in Armenia, which is 0.6% higher than the indicator of a year ago, while a 1.5% increase was registered in the  two-year context. According to the RA Statistical Committee, the  birth rate per 1,000 inhabitants in the reporting period amounted to  12.4 per thousand, against 12.3% in 2020 and 12.2 per thousand two  years earlier.

Central Bank of Armenia reinforced investment crowdfunding with  regulatory legislative platform

ArmInfo.At the February 8, 2022 meeting of the Board, the Central Bank approved a package of by-laws regulating investment-based crowdfunding services  (crowdfunding through the sale of securities). Of  these, 12,067.2 thousand tons (69.9% of the total volume) fall to  road transport, growing 23.1% by y-o-y terms  (against an increase of  0.9% in 2020). This is evidenced by the data of the RA Statistical  Committee.
