ArmInfo. The embargo on the import of Turkish goods has facilitated the recovery of genuine leather production in Armenia, RA Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan reported in a Facebook message.

On December 23, the Armenian government approved  the proposal to sign a protocol on amendments to the "Agreement  between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government  of the Republic of Armenia on the terms of purchase and sale of  shares and further activities of ArmRosgazprom closed joint stock  company dated December 2, 2013 ".

ArmInfo.The German government will provide Armenia with 116 million 400 thousand euros for the social and economic development of the Republic of Armenia. On  December 23, the Armenian Cabinet of Ministers approved the draft law  "On ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the  Republic of Armenia and the Government of the Federal Republic of  Germany on financial cooperation for 2020".

The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) concluded the 2021 Article IV consultation as well as completed the fourth and fifth reviews of  the Republic of Armenia's economic program supported by a three-year  IMF Stand-By Arrangement (SBA). The completion of these reviews  allows the authorities to draw SDR 51.43 million (about US$ 72  million), according to an IMF report of December 17.
