EBRD approves $15mln loans for Ameriabank under MSMEs and WiB  projects

ArmInfo.The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has approved $15mln loans under the micro-, small and medium sized enterprises (MSMEs - $5mln) and Women in Business (WiB - $10mln) for Ameriabank. According to an EBRD report, loans are provided under the SME Competitiveness Programme in  Eastern Partnership (EaP SMEC).

INECOBANK resumed issues of its bonds after two-year break

ArmInfo.INECOBANK has resumed issuing its bonds after a two-year break - this is a tranche of 2 billion drams. This is indicated in the prospectus of this issue  posted on the website of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia,  according to which the initial placement started on December 16, 2021  and is scheduled for completion on March 16, 2022.

Minimum pension and benefits in Armenia to grow by about $ 4 in 2022

ArmInfo.From January 1, 2022, the minimum pension and benefits in Armenia will increase by 2,100 drams (about $ 4). The corresponding decision was approved on  December 16 at a government meeting, the Ministry of Labor of Armenia  reported on its Facebook page.

ArmInfo.This morning, news about the cancellation of the Yerevan-Moscow-Yerevan flights of Fly One, which were scheduled for December 15-16, was spread on the  network. Passengers were sent in the their required destinations via  flights of other companies.  Moscow's refusal to accept Fly One  aircraft was indicated as a possible reason.

Revised CBA forecast: 4.2% GDP growth, 8.4% inflation

ArmInfo.According to the revised forecast for 2021 by the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA), 4.2% GDP growth is expected in Armenia against the previously forecast  5.4%, with inflation near 8.4% by the end of this year. According to  the revised CBA forecast, 5.3% GDP growth is expected next year, CBA  Chairman Martyn Galstyan told a news conference on Tuesday.

Central Bank of Armenia raises refinancing rate from 7.25% to 7.75%

ArmInfo. The Central Bank of Armenia raised the refinancing rate by 0.5 percentage points, setting it at the level of 7.75%. As ArmInfo was told in the press service of  the Central Bank of Armenia, this decision was made on December 14 at  a meeting of the Board of the Central Bank of Armenia.
