ArmInfo.  Armenia's draft 2026 state budget represents the logical culmination of the journey traversed over the past five years. This was stated by RA Minister of  Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan on November 12 at the plenary session of  the National Assembly, presenting the country's draft Basic Economic  Law.

ArmInfo. The results of the first Junius Financial Literacy Competition have finally been announced. Nine students from grades 3 to 8 took the top three places and were invited to Idram to receive their prizes — ranging from board games and a bicycle to musical instruments, cameras, and gadgets.

ArmInfo.  Starting in 2026, electronic employment contracts will become mandatory for  employers and employees upon hiring and firing. The platform may also  be implemented this year on a voluntary basis, according to the State  Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia.  This means that, starting next  year, the conclusion, termination, and modification of employment  contracts will be carried out exclusively through a digital platform.

ArmInfo. The Armenian parliamentary opposition has sent a request to the relevant  authorities demanding the price of Kazakh grain delivered to Armenia.  Garnik Danielyan, a member of the National Assembly from the  opposition "Armenia" faction, told reporters on November 11.

ArmInfo.  Armenia's supply of fourth-grade wheat from Kazakhstan means the country also needs it, Deputy Minister of Economy Edgar Zakaryan told reporters on November  11.

ArmInfo.  The final event of the "Wings for All" program, implemented by the "We Are Our Mountains" development agency, took place at the Halidzor community  center in Syunik Province. Twelve beneficiary families were awarded  grants ranging from 300,000 to 1,000,000 drams to implement their  business ideas.

ArmInfo.  Armenia will increase the state duty on imported metal rebar from 29 times the base duty to 55 times the base duty. The National Assembly of the  Republic of Armenia will discuss amendments to the law "On State  Duty" proposed by MPs Sergey Bagratyan and Narek Ghahramanyan in the  first reading at its plenary session on November 11.
