ArmInfo. The insurance sector of Armenia in January- September 2021 paid taxes for 2.1 billion drams ($ 4.3 million), which is 31.3% higher than a year ago  (against 33.3% growth a year earlier). Of this amount, 1.8 billion  drams fell on direct taxes, with a y-o-y growth of 28.6% (against  16.7% growth a year earlier).

In January-September 2021, Gazprom Armenia CJSC regained its leading  positions in the list of the largest taxpayers in Armenia, increasing  payments to the state treasury by 9.7% over the year to 38.3 billion  drams ($ 79 million). According to the State Revenue Committee, a  year earlier Gazprom Armenia occupied the 2nd position. The company  paid over 193 million drams for customs duties, 3.5 billion drams for  direct taxes, 33.9 billion drams for indirect taxes.

Telecommunications operators of Armenia for 9 months of 2021  increased tax payments to the state treasury by 16.3%

ArmInfo.In January-September 2021, the four telecom operators of Armenia paid a  total of 27.1 billion drams ($ 55.9 million) to the state budget  through taxes, which is 16.3% higher than a year ago. Of this amount,  7.4 billion was paid in direct taxes (including income tax, profit  tax) and 13.3 billion in indirect taxes (including VAT, excise tax).

ArmInfo.If the negotiations of the Armenian authorities with the "Veolia Djur" company are concluded successfully, from January 1, 2022, the water tariff can be increased  by only 20 drams - up to 200 drams per 1 cubic meter, instead of the  223.7 drams offered by the single operator of water supply.  Head of  the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) of Armenia Garegin  Baghramyan stated this on October 20 in an interview with journalists  referring to the company's application to increase the water tariff.

ArmInfo.The United States International Trade  Commission (USITC) today determined that a U.S. industry is  materially injured by reason of imports of aluminum foil from  Armenia, Brazil, Oman, Russia, and Turkey that the U.S. Department of  Commerce (Commerce) has determined are sold in the United States at  less than fair value and subsidized by the governments of Oman and  Turkey, the official website of the Commission reports.  "As a result  of the Commission's affirmative determinations, Commerce will issue  countervailing duty orders on imports of this product from Oman and  Turkey and antidumping duty orders on imports of this product from  Armenia, Brazil, Oman, Russia, and Turkey."
