ArmInfo.On October 12, 2021, S&P Global Ratings assigned its 'B+' long- term foreign- and local-currency sovereign credit ratings to Armenia. At the same time,  it assigned its 'B' short- term foreign- and local currency ratings.  The outlook is positive.

ArmInfo.Economic cooperation between Armenia and Slovenia does not correspond to the existing potential. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Slovenia  to the Republic of Armenia Tomaz Mencin (residence in Kiev) expressed  a similar opinion during a meeting with representatives of the  Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Armenia (CCI).

ArmInfo. By December 31, 2021, Armenia's public debt will amount to 4.509 billion drams (about $ 9.135 billion) or 64.1% of GDP, and by the end of 2022 the figure  will reach 5.029 billion drams (about $ 10.188 billion) or 63.9% of  GDP.

ArmInfo.The alcohol industry in Armenia is steadily increasing production volumes. According to the data of the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia, in  January-August 2021, the largest volume of alcohol produced in the  country falls on the production of brandy. And the highest growth  rates were recorded for the production of whiskey.

ArmInfo.Cargo transportation in Armenia in January-August 2021 increased by 12.1% per annum (against 4.5% growth in the same period in 2020), amounting to 10,467.1  thousand tons. According to the Statistical Committee of the Republic  of Armenia, the acceleration of the upward dynamics was provoked by  the change from the recession to the growth of cargo transportation  by air and the acceleration of the upward pace of road freight  transportation.

ArmInfo.Revenue in the communications sector of Armenia in January-August 2021 in comparison with the same period in 2020 grew by 4.8% (against 4.3% decline a  year earlier), exceeding 95.9 billion drams. This is evidenced by the  data of the RA Statistical Committee.
