RA Anticorruption Committee to get more money in 2026

ArmInfo.  Budget allocations to the Anti-Corruption Committee in 2026 will amount to 3 billion 516.9 million drams, an increase of 1.5%, or 53.1 million drams, compared to 2025. Armenian Deputy Finance Minister Vahan Sirunyan announced this on November 5 at a joint session of parliamentary standing  committees during the discussion of the draft state budget for next  year.

In 2026, total funding for Ministry of Environment`s activities to be  15.4 billion drams

ArmInfo. In 2026, the total funding for 25 activities included within the six budget programs of the Ministry of Environment will be approximately 15.4  billion drams. This amount is 813 million drams more than the budget approved in 2025. Of the planned amount for 2026, approximately 2.4 billion drams are from international grants, and approximately 13 billion drams are allocations from the state budget, as stated by the Minister of Environment of the Republic of Armenia, Hambardzum Matevosyan, during a meeting in the National Assembly.

RA CB leaves refinancing rate unchanged

ArmInfo.  The Central Bank of Armenia has once again decided to keep the refinancing rate at 6.75%. This decision was made on November 4 at a meeting of the Central Bank Board. This is the sixth time in 2025 that the Central Bank has kept the key rate unchanged. The first was made in March (following a reduction in February from 7% to 6.75%), followed by the following decisions in May, June, August, September, and this November.

Armenia`s education expenses to reach 3% of GDP in 2026
