ArmInfo.  Budget allocations to the Anti-Corruption Committee in 2026 will amount to 3 billion 516.9 million drams, an increase of 1.5%, or 53.1 million drams, compared to 2025. Armenian Deputy Finance Minister Vahan Sirunyan announced this on November 5 at a joint session of parliamentary standing  committees during the discussion of the draft state budget for next  year.

ArmInfo.  Amendments to the Law "On Ensuring the Uniformity of Measurements" in Armenia are aimed at increasing the accuracy and transparency of product information. The National Assembly Committee on Economic Affairs discussed the amendments in their second reading at its November 5 meeting.

ArmInfo.  Armenian authorities have set the goal of reducing congestion of freight vehicles at the country's land borders caused by the need to prepare  tax and customs duty payment reports. At its November 5 meeting, the  National Assembly's Committee on Economic Affairs approved the first  reading of amendments to the Tax Code and the Law "On State Duty"  submitted by the government.

ArmInfo.Armenia recorded growth in external demand for domestic goods and services in the second and third quarters of 2025. At the same time, uncertainty  regarding future trends in domestic demand remains. In this situation, the impact of demand on inflation is still assessed as neutral, and current inflation dynamics are largely determined by certain supply-side factors, as stated by Central Bank Chairman Martin Galstyan on November 4, while presenting the rationale for the Central Bank Board's decision to maintain the refinancing rate at 6.75%.

ArmInfo. In 2026, the total funding for 25 activities included within the six budget programs of the Ministry of Environment will be approximately 15.4  billion drams. This amount is 813 million drams more than the budget approved in 2025. Of the planned amount for 2026, approximately 2.4 billion drams are from international grants, and approximately 13 billion drams are allocations from the state budget, as stated by the Minister of Environment of the Republic of Armenia, Hambardzum Matevosyan, during a meeting in the National Assembly.

ArmInfo.  During the draft state budget debates in the National Assembly committees on November 4, RA Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan stated that 39.4 billion drams will be allocated for agricultural programs in Armenia  in 2026.

This is the sixth time in 2025 that the Central Bank has kept the key rate unchanged. The first was made in March (following a reduction in February from 7% to 6.75%), followed by the following decisions in May, June, August, September, and this November.

ArmInfo.  In 2026, slightly over 400 billion drams are planned to be allocated to the needs of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the  Republic of Armenia, which represents 11.6% of the total expenditures  of next year's draft state budget. This was announced by Zhanna  Andreasyan, head of the ministry, during discussions of the draft  2026 state treasury at a meeting of joint committees of the National  Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.
