ArmInfo.  Natural gas imports to Armenia increased by 4.5% year-on-year in the first half  of 2025, reaching 1,418,940.1 cubic meters, with a 4.2% increase in  customs value to $244.5 million. Liquefied gas supplies also saw  a  significant increase, rising by 29.4% year-on-year to 128,040.7 tons,  with a 43.6% increase in customs value to $42.7 million, according to  data from the RA Customs Service. All natural gas came from Russia  (79.5%) and Kazakhstan (20.5%).  Specifically, 1,127,447 cubic meters  of natural gas were supplied from Russia to Armenia, showing a slight  year-on-year decrease in volume of 0.1% and a similar decrease in  customs value to $195.9 million. From Kazakhstan, 291,493.1 cubic  meters were supplied, marking a 26.7% increase from the previous  year, with a 26.3% increase in customs value to $48.6 million.

ArmInfo.  In 2026, the Yerevan Municipality will receive 56.6 billion drams from the  Armenian state budget, as stated by Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan  during a parliamentary committee session on October 31.

ArmInfo.  Imports of petroleum products to Armenia in the first half of 2025 increased by  9.2% (compared to a 16.4% decline the previous year), reaching 244.1  thousand tons. The customs value increased by 7.8%, reaching $230.5  million, according to data from the RA Customs Service. Petroleum  products were imported primarily from Russia (79.8%), Romania  (17.1%), Egypt (9.4%), Turkey (8.6%), Greece (5.3%), Israel (4.2%),  Iran (3.4%), Georgia (2.3%), as well as from Bulgaria, Belgium,  Belarus, the Republic of Korea, Germany, the Netherlands, the UAE,  Lithuania, the United Kingdom, Thailand, Spain, Italy, Poland,  Canada, Singapore, Serbia, China, Ukraine, Switzerland, Sweden, the  United States, Japan, Malaysia, Finland, France, and Kazakhstan. Less  than 1 ton was supplied from Portugal, Oman, Indonesia, South Africa,  and Austria.

ArmInfo.  Negotiations on financing a corridor across the country are ongoing in the Armenian government. This was stated by David Khudatyan, Minister of  Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, during parliamentary  hearings on the 2026 draft state budget on October 31.

ArmInfo.In the first half of 2025, Armenia saw a slowdown in the decline of  aluminum foil exports, with a year-on-year decline  decreasing from 22.8% to 8.7%, totaling 9.2 thousand tons. Meanwhile, the customs value of exported foil increased by 29.3% year- on-year (compared to a 36% decline the  previous year), amounting to $40.8 million, according to data from the RA Customs Service.

ArmInfo.In the first half of 2025, Armenia reduced gold exports by 82% (compared to a 12-fold increase the previous year) to 10,646 kg. According to data  from the Armenian Customs Service, the customs value decreased by 75.3%, exceeding $1 billion. 

ArmInfo.In the first half of 2025, Armenia nearly halved its diamond exports and imports (compared to a 2.5-fold increase the previous year) to 231,100 and  239,800 carats, respectively. The customs value in both cases decreased by 85%, to $59.8 million for exports and $64.7 million for imports, according to data from the RA Customs Service.

ArmInfo.As a result of increasing the cashback threshold for the pensioner cashback program from 12% to 20%, citizens' pensions will increase by 3,000-4,000 rubles, as stated by Arsen Torosyan, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, during the draft state budget debates in the National  Assembly on October 30.

ArmInfo.The budget for the implementation of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs programs in 2026 will be increased by 9.6%, or 87.4 billion drams, as  stated by Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Arsen Torosyan during the draft state budget debates in the National Assembly on October  30. Of this amount, the lion's share - 590.8 billion, or 59.5% - is allocated to the pension budget, with 244 billion drams for the  funded system. The funding for this program has been increased by 30.5 billion drams, or 5.4%.
