ArmInfo.Armenia's metallurgy sector saw a significant increase in production averaging 28.8% year-on-year in January 2026 (compared to a 17% decline a year earlier). According to data from the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia, the growth was fueled by an uptick in the
production of copper concentrate, as well as improved dynamics in the production of all metals in Armenia, excluding ferromolybdenum.
