Armenia extending ban on export of ferrous and non-ferrous metal  scrap and waste until August 2, 2026

ArmInfo.  The Armenian government is extending the temporary ban on the movement of certain goods from the Republic of Armenia to Eurasian Economic Union member  states and on their export to third countries. The decision was made  by the Cabinet of Ministers during its regular session on October 30.

ArmInfo.  South Caucasus Railways continues to implement its investment program to modernize its railway infrastructure, including replacing a bridge structure  near the city of Armavir on October 29. The bridge, which had served  for over a century, was renovated in an extremely short timeframe-15  hours which minimized disruptions to train schedules. This was stated  in a company statement.

ArmInfo.  In 2024 alone, Armenia exported 48 million liters of bottled brandy (cognac),  ranking as the third largest  exporter worldwide, after France and  Singapore, as announced during a seminar with the participation of  the representatives  of Armenian brandy producers and  the Ministry  of Economy. The seminar was organized within the framework of the EU-  funded "Technical Assistance for the Development of Geographical  Indications (GI) Armenian Brandy" project.

ArmInfo. In the first eight months of this year, exports from Armenia to Germany increased by more than 77%, reaching $71.4 million, while in the same period  last year, they totaled $40.4 million. Armenian Minister of Economy  Gevorg Papoyan shared this information on his Facebook page, while    in Germany to attend a meeting of the Armenian-German  intergovernmental commission.
