ArmInfo.  The Armenian government is extending the temporary ban on the movement of certain goods from the Republic of Armenia to Eurasian Economic Union member  states and on their export to third countries. The decision was made  by the Cabinet of Ministers during its regular session on October 30.

ArmInfo.  Improving relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan will facilitate greater  regional cooperation and integration, as  stated by Jihad Azour,  Director of the Middle East and Central Asia Department at the  International Monetary Fund (IMF),  TASS reports.

ArmInfo.  The Armenian government will motivate winegrowers in the Vayots Dzor region to purchase and process surplus Voskehat and Areni grapes. The draft  resolution  on approving measures to organize the procurement of  Areni and Voskehat grapes in 2025 was adopted during a regular  session on October 30.

ArmInfo.  During its regular session on October 30,  the Armenian government approved the signing of loan and grant agreements under the Transformative Housing  Reforms for Improved Vitality and Empowerment (THRIVE) program  between the Republic of Armenia and the Asian Development Bank.

ArmInfo.  South Caucasus Railways continues to implement its investment program to modernize its railway infrastructure, including replacing a bridge structure  near the city of Armavir on October 29. The bridge, which had served  for over a century, was renovated in an extremely short timeframe-15  hours which minimized disruptions to train schedules. This was stated  in a company statement.

ArmInfo.  On October 30, at its regular meeting, the Armenian government approved the proposal to sign a Financing Agreement between the Republic of Armenia and the  European Commission on "Strengthening Nuclear Safety and Radiation  Protection in Armenia."

ArmInfo.  The Armenian Ministry of Finance proposes establishing tax incentives for state-funded programs to compensate for expenses incurred. The draft law amending  the Armenian Tax Code was approved on October 30 at a regular  government meeting.

ArmInfo.  Armenia and  Argentina discussed prospects for developing joint projects in the  technology sector. According to the Ministry of High-Tech Industry,  this was announced following a meeting between Mkhitar Hayrapetyan,  Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia, and Rafael Enrique  Gonzalez Alemany, Ambassador of Argentina to Armenia.

ArmInfo.  Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of  Armenia Kristine Galechyan received a delegation from the Eurasian  Fund for Stabilization and Development, led by Artur Arakelyan, Head  of the Transport and Communications Department.

ArmInfo. On October 29, Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan received a delegation from the European Investment Bank led by Stella Renita, Head of the EIB Regional Office for the South Caucasus.

ArmInfo.Tashir Capital will once again appeal to the Public Services Regulatory Commission of the Republic of Armenia on October 30th, demanding a  reduction in electricity tariffs for the population. ArmInfo. The fourth meeting of the EU-Armenia Investment Coordination Platform was held on October 29, co-chaired by RA Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan and Adrienn Kiraly, Director General of the European Commission for the Eastern Neighborhood and Turkey.

ArmInfo.The former management of Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC had suggested to the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) to consider reducing electricity tariffs. David Ghazinyan, former head of the company and a member of the coordinating council of the "In Our Way"  movement,  told journalists on October 29.

ArmInfo. The Intergovernmental talks between the Republic of Armenia and the Federal Republic of Germany will take place in Berlin in the coming  days.  Armenian Ambassador to Germany Viktor Yengibaryan shared this information on his Facebook page.

ArmInfo.  At the anniversary BACEE Conference, Converse Bank CEO Andranik Grigoryan delivered a presentation titled “Connected, Convenient, Converse. Mobile Banking Reimagined”, highlighting the Bank’s digital transformation journey and its vision for future growth.

ArmInfo.  In 2024 alone, Armenia exported 48 million liters of bottled brandy (cognac),  ranking as the third largest  exporter worldwide, after France and  Singapore, as announced during a seminar with the participation of  the representatives  of Armenian brandy producers and  the Ministry  of Economy. The seminar was organized within the framework of the EU-  funded "Technical Assistance for the Development of Geographical  Indications (GI) Armenian Brandy" project.

ArmInfo. In the first eight months of this year, exports from Armenia to Germany increased by more than 77%, reaching $71.4 million, while in the same period  last year, they totaled $40.4 million. Armenian Minister of Economy  Gevorg Papoyan shared this information on his Facebook page, while    in Germany to attend a meeting of the Armenian-German  intergovernmental commission.
