ArmInfo.The National Assembly of Armenia adopted the draft state budget for 2026 during its plenary session on December 4. Sixty-five members voted in favor,  27 voted against, and three abstained.

ArmInfo.  The Armenian government plans to receive a ?100 million credit line from the French Development Agency (FDA) for the development of the water and  agriculture sectors. An additional ?12.4 million will be received as  a grant from the EU. The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal  to sign Framework Agreement No. CAM 1029 for an unconfirmed credit  line between the RA and the FDA at its regular meeting on December 4.  It should be noted that today the government amended another loan  agreement with the FDA for ?150 million to receive funds in the  current fiscal year.

ArmInfo.  On December 4, the Armenian government approved the proposal to sign a Free Trade Agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union and its member states,  on the one hand, and the Republic of Indonesia, on the other.

ArmInfo. The Cabinet of Ministers of Armenia is amending the EUR 150 million loan agreement between the Republic of Armenia and the French Development Agency  (FDA), signed on September 26, 2025, aimed at improving the  efficiency and sustainability of public service delivery in Armenia,  as well as developing the financial sector, as part of the budget  support program.

ArmInfo. The Ministry of Finance has conducted a study on the impact of public debt on Armenia's economic development, applying a model based on the  methodology proposed by the International Monetary Fund, as stated by Vahe Hovhannisyan during a government hour in the National Assembly  on December 3, in response  to a question from Babken Tunyan, a member of parliament from the ruling Civil Contract faction.

ArmInfo.The minimum wage falls short of our dreams, but raising it has fiscal consequences and affects the economy. Armenian Minister of Labor and  Social Affairs Arsen Torosyan made this statement during a government hour on December 3, when responding to questions from parliamentarians.
