ArmInfo. Armenia's diamond exports in 2025 were almost halved (compared to a 6% decline in 2024), reaching 279,900 carats. The customs value decreased by 77.4%, amounting to $109.5 million. According to data from the RA Customs Service, diamond imports also significantly declined—by 88.4%, reaching 378,000 carats, with a 75.8% decrease in customs value, reaching $120.9 million.

ArmInfo. Armenia's gold exports, after increasing 2.7-fold in 2024, fell by 82.2% in 2025 to 13,794.4 kg. The customs value of imported gold also decreased proportionally, by 75.9%, to $1.3 million, according to data from the RA Customs Service.

In Armenia, the dollarization rate of demand deposits has increased since May 2026, from 36.8% to 42.3% in July, while continuing to decrease in loans and term deposits, with the dram component remaining dominant in these portfolios. This is evidenced by data from the Central Bank of  Armenia, calculated based on indicators of banks and credit companies.

ArmInfo.Armenia's gross international reserves (GIR) increased by 52.1% year-on-year, or $2.119 billion, in August 2026, setting a new record of $6.189  billion. In the same period of 2025, growth was more modest, at 19.3%, or $658.8 million, reaching $4.070 billion. In July alone, GIR  increased slightly, by 5% (or $289.7 million), compared to a modest 0.5% (or $22.2 million) growth a year earlier.

ArmInfo. The net inflow of private transfers to Armenia in the first half of 2026 showed a significant annual increase of 2.3 times (from a 1.3% decline a year  ago), reaching $1.4 billion. Meanwhile, the net inflow of  non-commercial transfers increased by 21.7% (almost the same as a  year ago - 22.6%), reaching $380.4 million. The share of  non-commercial transfers in the total net inflow decreased to 28%  (after increasing a year ago from 43% to 53%). This is evidenced by  data from the Central Bank of Armenia.
