ArmInfo.The draft state budget for 2026 presented by the Armenian government, in its content, is an attempt to combine the idea of "balancing opportunities and  risks." However, the document often overflows with formal ambitions  without sufficient justification for how they will be translated into  real economic results. Economist and former head of the State Revenue  Committee of the Republic of Armenia David Ananyan shared this  assessment on social media.

ArmInfo.There will be no significant issues with the opening of the Armenian-Turkish border, as stated by  Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan during a  session of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Regional and  Eurasian Integration.

Armenia will accede to the EAEU protocol on a special mechanism for conducting research and making decisions on the application or non-application  of special protective, anti-dumping, and countervailing measures. At  its meeting on September 29, the Committee on Regional and Eurasian  Integration of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia  approved the protocol "On Amending the Part of the Treaty on the  Eurasian Economic Union of May 29, 2014, Regarding the Special  Mechanism for Conducting Research and Making Decisions on the  Application or Non-application of Special Protective, Anti-Dumping,  and Countervailing Measures," submitted by the Armenian government  for ratification.

ArmInfoStarting October 1, 2025, an electronic system for booking border crossing dates and times (GIS EPD) will be introduced at automobile border crossing points across the Russian Federation state border, including the  Upper Lars border crossing point.
