ArmInfo.  Economic growth in Armenia in 2025 is projected to be 4.9-5.3%, but recent trends suggest that higher growth rates may be achieved by the end of the  year, as stated by Chairman of the Central Bank  Martin Galstyan in  his speech in parliament on September 9.

ArmInfo. As of September 9 of this year, the total number of applications submitted by individuals and legal entities for connection to the distribution network of the  electricity supply of Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC (ENA) is  5,591. Of these, connection agreements were concluded with 3,317  applicants, while in 1,568 cases, violations of the terms of the  agreement were recorded, the company's press service reports. It is  noted that as a result of a comprehensive analysis and research  conducted on behalf of the interim manager of ENA CJSC Romanos  Petrosyan, it was established that out of the 3,317 connection  agreements concluded with applicants wishing to become new  subscribers, violations of the terms set in the agreement related to  the connection procedure were recorded in about half of the cases,  namely 1,568. Moreover, in most cases, these violations are not  related to the obligations of the applicants themselves.

ArmInfo.  The Yerevan Municipality wants to provide tax benefits and write off fines to  developers of apartment buildings that have not received final acts  of acceptance of the work performed. The corresponding draft law was  presented during the meeting of the Council of Elders on September 9  by the acting head of the Department of Accounting and Collection of  Income of the Yerevan Municipality David Hakobyan.

ArmInfo.  The Armenian foreign ministry has reacted to a report by the Russian TASS state news agency which claimed, citing an anonymous source, that Pakistan  'intends to recognize Armenia as a UN member state and subsequently  be greenlighted to become a member of the Eurasian Economic Union  [EAEU]."

ArmInfo.  The Competition and Consumer Rights Protection Commission of Armenia imposed a fine of 288,828,000 drams on Toch- Master, Inntech, Q Terminal, Shtrikh KKA,  Terminal Serv, Mary-Christ and Smart Solutions for setting and  applying unreasonably high prices (from 1800 drams, from 2400 drams  to 3600 drams) for the purchase of cash register services, as well as  discriminatory prices, which led to abuse of a dominant position.

ArmInfo. From September 5 to 7, the largest real estate and construction exhibition in the region, Toon Expo 2025, was held at the “Meridian” Expo Center in Yerevan for the fifth time. The exhibition featured around 150 companies from various sectors, including construction, real estate, banking, architecture, design, and solar energy.

ArmInfo. Armenia's external debt to the World Bank (WB) increased by 1.3% in the first half of 2025 (against a 2.7% decline in the same period a year ago), while  accelerating in growth from 2.3% to 4.6% year-on-year, exceeding $1.7  billion. This is evidenced by data from the RA Statistical Committee.

ArmInfo.  In January-July 2025, Armenia generated 5,557.6 million kWh of electricity, which is 6.5% higher than the same period last year. According to the RA  Statistical Committee, in July alone, electricity generation  increased by 23% to 862.5 million kWh.

ArmInfo.  In January-July 2025, the metallurgical industry of Armenia reversed its annual  dynamics from 7% growth to 7% decline. According to the data of the  RA Statistical Committee, this was provoked by a decline in the  volumes of the dominant production - copper concentrate, as well as  molybdenum concentrate and ferromolybdenum.
