Over 99.9% of wheat imported to Armenia comes from Russia

ArmInfo.In 2024, Armenia imported 316,000 tons of wheat, which is 8.1% lower than the same period last year.  99.9% of the wheat was imported from the Russian  Federation, with the remaining volume coming from Belarus and  Slovakia. The customs value of imported wheat for the reporting year  decreased by 3.3% - to $ 60.7 million, according to data from the  Customs Service of the Republic of Armenia.

ArmInfo.  In 2024, Armenia reduced car imports by 63% (compared to an 86.3% increase in 2023),  bringing the total to 32.1 thousand units. Accordingly, the customs  value also decreased - by 60.5% to $ 520 million, as evidenced by   data from the Customs Service of the Republic of Armenia.

Armenia`s sugar imports 41.6% up

ArmInfo.  According to the results of 2024, Armenia increased sugar imports by 41.6% to 97.9 thousand tons. The customs value increased by 36.8%, amounting to $57  million. ArmInfo. In 2024, Armenia increased its copper ore exports by 20.4% - to 341.5 thousand tons (compared to a 20.4% decline in 2023). The customs value of copper ore also saw a 15.5% increase, totaling $558.3 million, as evidenced  by data from the Customs Service of the Republic of Armenia.

Aluminum foil exports from Armenia decreased by 20% in 2024

ArmInfo.In 2024, Armenia reduced its aluminum foil exports by 20% (compared to a 22.5% decline in 2023), resulting in a supply volume of 20.3 thousand tons.   According to data from the Customs Service of the Republic of  Armenia, the customs value of exported aluminum foil also decreased  by 21.4% to $68.6 million.
