Armenian government  received right to sell its share in MTS Armenia

RA Nuclear Safety Committee to move into new building

Armenia`s authorities taking steps to develop textile exports

Armenia`s IT sector records 25.6% growth in 1st half of 2025

In the first half of the year, Armenia`s natural population growth decreased by 37.3%

The birth rate per 1000 inhabitants for the reporting period was 9.6 per mille, compared to 10.4 per mille the previous year, as evidenced by data from the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia.

Armenia`s population  increased to 3.1 million people by July 2025.

Ardshinbank — Armenia’s No. 1 Taxpayer in Direct Taxes

ArmInfo. Ardshinbank is the largest taxpayer in Armenia in terms of direct tax payments according to the State Revenue Committee’s results for the first half of 2025. In the first half of 2025, the bank transferred 27.27 billion AMD to the state budget in direct taxes. This figure was made possible thanks to a significant increase in profit tax and income tax.

Armenia`s service sector is experiencing rapid growth

ArmInfo. In Armenia, in the first half of 2025, the service sector saw an acceleration in its annual growth rate from 4.4% to 9.8%, reaching 1.8 trillion drams ($4.6 billion).  According to data from of the RA Statistics Committee, in June alone, the volume of services provided increased by 1.3%, totaling 322.8 billion drams ($840.2 million). The increase in the growth rate was mainly driven by  improvements in the leading information and communication and real estate sectors, as well as the maintenance of growth several areas since previous year.

Armenia`s top-5 trading partners  include Russia, China, UAE, Iran and Germany, with a combined trade volume of $6.3 billion

ArmInfo. The top-5 countries in foreign trade with Armenia are Russia, China, UAE, Iran and Germany, with a total volume of $6.3 billion, four of these countries reduced their volumes in the first half of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024 - Russia by 54.8%, China by 15%, UAE by 69.4%, and Germany by 3.3%. This is despite the fact that a year ago the Russian Federation, China and UAE demonstrated significant growth, while Germany was experiencing a more pronounced decline.

Armenia`s trade nearly hit 3 trillion drams in revenue in the first  half of the year

ArmInfo.  In the first half of 2025, Armenia's  trade sector revenue slowed in annual growth from 22.9% to 3.9%, exceeding 2.9 trillion drams ($7.5 billion).   According to data from the Statistical Committee of the Republic of  Armenia, trade turnover in Armenia increased by 6.2%  in June of this  year, totaling 549.3 billion drams ($1.4 billion).
