ArmInfo. Ameriabank CJSC intends to increase the corporate credit portfolio of its new branch in Dilijan to 15 mln USD, Director for Retail Operations of Ameriabank Vazrik Sekoyan told journalists, Friday, during the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the
Dilijan branch. "By its technical equipment, the new branch does not differ from the head office, and this is part of our development policy",- said Sekoyan.
For his part, Head of Directorate, Director General of Ameriabank Artak Hanesyan said that in 2010 it is envisaged to open 2 more branches in Yerevan and supposedly in Gyumri. "The key directions of work of the Dilijan branch will be tourism, processing industry and services. I hope that we will manage to make our own contribution to the establishment of Dilijan as a financial center",- said Hanesyan. To recall, Ameriabank has already branches in Yerevan, Kajaran and Stepanakert.
To note, over Jan-Mar 2010 the credit portfolio of Ameriabank grew by 9,6% (up to 57 bln AMD). The share of non-operating loans in the bank's portfolio currently makes up 0,6% and is expected to grow by 2,5% before the end of the year. The growth in the credit portfolio is ensured due to the growth in corporate loans and retail loans, which, in its turn, has led to growth in assets, in the structure of which the share of provision of crediting made up about 57%. Ameriabank's main shareholder with 99,99% participation in the capital is TDA Holdings Limited affiliated with Troika Dialog Group (Russia). Ameriabank holds the leading position in the Armenian banking system by the amount of its authorized capital - 18.2 bln AMD.
