ArmInfo. South Caucasus Railway JSC calls on private persons and legal entities to use the capacities of the company for passenger flows and cargo transportation
Answering the question of ArmInfo regarding carriage and transportation implemented by SCRW in late December, when about 700 vehicles concentrated at the Upper Lars checkpoint, Vardan Aloyan, the PR manager of the company mentioned, that current climate and weather conditions are not a problem for the Company. "The works proceed within the schedule estimated, all the trains following that schedule as well. We have no problems with cargo transportation as well,' Aloyan stated.
To remind, yesterday Vahan Martirosyan, the Armenian Minister of Transport, Communications and IT informed about searchin optional routes. " At the moment the Uppr Lars Checkpoint is closed for all kinds of traffic. About 700 vehicles, 400 of which with Armenian numbers, are waiting at Armenian- Georgian Border," Vahan Martirosyan stated.
To remind, the Upper Lars checkpoint is located at Armenian- Georgian border and is the only way of land communication between Armenia and Russia.
