In order to provide heat energy to the non-gasified communities of Armenia, the Ministry of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources of the Republic of Armenia has developed and submitted a package of proposals to the government. In particular, this refers to the installation of photovoltaic panels and water heaters, or pellet boilers or furnaces in these communities.
According to Hayk Harutyunyan, Deputy Minister of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources of the Republic of Armenia, to which the press service of the ministry refers, on the basis of carried out studies and calculations for each specific community, specific proposals were made. "The preference for this project is given to the installation of water heaters, which is the best and mutually beneficial option for providing non-gasified communities with hot water," said Hayk Harutyunyan, who, at the same time, pointed to other possible solutions to the problem. In particular, according to him, gasification is possible in a number of communities. The solution of this problem was discussed with the operator of the gas system of Armenia. "The submitted package of proposals will be discussed in the near future in the government of the country, and after the approval the implementation of the program will begin, but this will take considerable time and serious financial resources." In any case, the government is determined and ready for a gradual solution of the problem. Given to the border communities," the deputy minister said.
