Armenian PM held a meeting on the development of the city of Vanadzor

ArmInfo. The issues of  development of the third-largest and most significant city of Armenia  - Vanadzor - were the subject of discussions held on December 8 with  Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan.

According to the press service of the Armenian government, the heads  of the region and the city took part in the meeting. In particular,  the meeting participants discussed the possibility of creating a  Vanadzor development fund similar to the "Kumayri Revival" foundation  set up for the city of Gyumri.

The Prime Minister instructed to submit the corresponding assignments  to the working group. He considered it necessary to appoint a  specific responsible person in the Development Fund of Armenia, which  will coordinate the work on the development of Vanadzor development  concept and master plan. In particular, it is about improving the  overall appearance of the city, planting, improving infrastructure,  as well as branding, work on the development of about 10 investment  programs.
