ArmInfo. Armenia included 6 more countries in the list of countries with special systems of tax liberalization (geographical areas). The decision on this was taken at a government session on February 1.
Presenting the draft decision, RA Minister of Finance Vardan Aramyan said that it is a question of countries considered offshore. However, after discussions with foreign partners, in particular with partners from Luxembourg, it was decided to change the notion of offshore to countries with special systems of tax liberalization (geographical territories), which now include American Samoa, Tunisia, South Korea, Mongolia, Namibia, Trinidad and Tobago.
