ArmInfo.The state minister of Artsakh, Grigory Martirosyan, held a working meeting on the eve of the meeting, at which the complex program of reforms in the tax sphere was discussed.
According to the press service of the Artsakh government, Finance Minister Arthur Harutyunyan noted at the meeting that the concept of tax reforms is ready and submitted to the government for approval. The State Minister stressed that before adopting the developed concept it is necessary to put it on a broad public discussion, having started work in this direction in the coming days with the involvement of interested organizations. Grigory Martirosyan, during a meeting with officials from the Ministry of Finance, pointed to the importance of improving the business environment, and in this context instructed to submit proposals on easing the tax burden for small and medium-sized enterprises. The State Minister also instructed in the near future, in order to carry out the reforms, to submit proposals for the introduction of the program budgeting system and the system of the state treasury.
He also inquired about the work on drafting the state budget of Arua in 2019, pointing out the need for close attention to the development of the medium-term expenditure program.
Speaking about overdue tax liabilities, Martirosyan stressed the importance of their revision, instructing the Minister of Finance to submit specific proposals on this issue as soon as possible with a mandatory presentation of the volumes and structure
