ArmInfo. The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) addressed issues in the implementation of the digital agenda, customs cooperation, and the agro- industrial complex of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) at a meeting in Moscow on November 28.
According to the press service of the EEC, the EEC Board adopted a recommendation on the development of cooperation between the countries of the Union in the production of poultry meat and its products. The document included a set of measures to ensure the conditions for the development of the industry and increasing exports of products to third countries. For example, it is proposed to update the interstate and national (state) standards in the field of poultry farming and poultry processing industry, the creation of breeding and genetic centers for breeding poultry, as well as the development of cooperation in the scientific, technical and experimental design fields.
To recall, poultry meat and its processing products are included in the list of sensitive agricultural products, approved by the decision of the Board of the Commission in 2016. The industry is one of the fastest growing: in 2017, 5.6 million tons of poultry meat was produced, which is 35% more than in 2012. At the same time, the share of poultry products in the total structure of agri-food exports of all types of meat in 2017 amounted to 45.6%.
Technological documents regulating information interaction during the implementation of the common process "Formation, maintenance and use of a single register of notifications" have been approved. These documents are necessary for the development of software for national information systems and components of the EEC integration segment. They include the rules and regulations of information interaction between the Commission and the authorized bodies of the States of the Union, a description of the formats and structures of electronic documents, as well as the procedure for joining the general process.
In the future, the automated formation and maintenance of a single register of notifications will speed up the implementation of administrative procedures and improve the efficiency of customs control during import and export of encryption (cryptographic) tools. At information interaction it is supposed to use the electronic digital signature.
The structure and format of preliminary information on goods intended for importation into the customs territory of the EAEU by water, air, rail and road has been approved. Earlier, the EEC Board has already determined the composition of the preliminary information. The decision comes into force on July 1, 2019.
