ArmInfo. The Armenian government attaches great importance to working with foreign investors and creates the most favorable conditions for foreign investments, said the Acting RA Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan at a meeting with the director of the Russian company Ecotechprom Sergey Sopin.
Sergey Sopin told Avinyan about the availability of the company he heads to make major investments in the project to create an industrial complex that will produce food, technical salt, soda and will start producing glass on the local raw material base. Products will be exported mainly to Russia and other countries.Note that according to various registries of the Russian Federation, LLC "EKOTEHPROM" - an enterprise belonging to the category of medium-sized businesses. The Russian service notes that the company is engaged in the wholesale non-specialized trade, construction of residential and non-residential premises and other construction. The company was registered in the Federal Tax Service in September 2016 with a registered capital of only 10,000 rubles. The stated main activity of the company is the activity of investment funds and similar financial organizations.After the meeting between (Ecotechprom) and the Foundation Business Armenia signed a Memorandum of Understanding. According to the document, Ecotechprom intends to invest about $ 285-340 million in the creation of new production facilities in Armenia. The construction of the industrial complex will start next year and will be completed by 2022. The industrial complex of three plants will occupy about 100 hectares of land. As a result, about 1,100-1,200 jobs will be created.After the signing ceremony of the memorandum, Tigran Avinyan noted thatthere will be more such large projects in the country, especially with the followingof the year. He said that the investment climate in Armenia has improved andwill be even more comfortable for investors in connection with the upcomingtax reform, elimination of bureaucratic barriers and other steps.
