Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia Victoria Poghosyan and Secretary General of the Ministry Narek Melkumyan held a meeting with Austrian IT specialist Meghrik Aytian and Austrian ballistics engineer Raffi Gyurdjian, who started their work at the RA Ministry of High-Tech Industry within the iGorts program.
According to the press service of the ministry, Victoria Poghosyan welcomed the specialists who start their work at the ministry, noting that after interviews with about 50 participants, 9 compatriots with the most relevant experience were selected. The Deputy Minister expressed confidence that their work in the ministry will be effective and successful.
Secretary General of the Ministry Narek Melkumyan thanked the participants for their willingness to invest their experience, knowledge and potential in the development of their homeland, expressing confidence that the program will be successful, and the positive results of their work will be noticeable in a short time.
The mission of the <iGorts> program is to promote repatriation, in particular professional repatriation, it is implemented on the initiative of the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
The uniqueness of the program lies in the fact that it enables specialists from the Diaspora to work in government bodies of the Republic of Armenia, to realize their professional dreams at homeland.
It should be noted that according to the results of the first stage, 24 specialists from Canada, Denmark, Russia, Lebanon, France, Norway to Israel, the Netherlands and China are already in Armenia. Even the epidemic did not prevent them from reaching their homeland and joining the work of the Armenian government. In total, about 100 specialists from the Diaspora will complement the public administration system, bringing with them foreign experience.
