"The State Revenue Committee has not yet received an official statement regarding the message issued by the authorities of the Russian Federation. Therefore, the Committee cannot make any comments," the message says.
Earlier today, ArmInfo, citing the press service of the Kremlin, reported that Armenia was one of the destinations of the truck that exploded on the Crimean bridge. At a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin said that the route of the truck where the explosion had already been established was Bulgaria, Georgia, Armenia, North Ossetia, Krasnodar Territory. With the help of FSS operatives, it was possible to identify suspects from among those who could prepare a terrorist attack, and people who operate on the territory of the Russian Federation. Alexander Bastrykin added that the special services of Ukraine, citizens of Russia and foreign countries were involved in the attack. On the morning of October 8, a truck exploded on the automobile part of the Crimean bridge, after which fuel tanks caught fire. Two spans of the structure collapsed. The investigative committee reported that the truck that exploded on the Crimean bridge belongs to a resident of the Krasnodar region. Investigations have been launched at his place of residence. Investigators are studying the route of the car. Komsomolskaya Pravda reports that the explosive was placed in rolls on the territory of Bulgaria. At first, the cargo was delivered by sea to the port of Poti in Georgia, from there to Armenia, where customs clearance took place according to the rules of the Customs Union. Then the cargo again drove into Georgia, and from it - to the territory of the Russian Federation through the Upper y Lars checkpoint. According to preliminary data, three people died in the explosion. Car traffic on the undamaged part of the Crimean bridge partially resumed by 16:00 on October 8.
