13,5% growth of cash transactions with ArCa cards in processing network of Areximbank-Gazprombank in November


ArmInfo. The volume of cash transactions with ArCa cards in the processing network of Areximbank-Gazprombank Group grew in November, 2009, by 13,5% as compared to October, and the number of cash transactions - by 10%. As Armenian Card CJSC told ArmInfo, the total volume of transactions with ArCa cards through the processing system of Areximbank-Gazprombank Group made up 45.2 mln in November, and the number - 2217, moreover, the volume of cashless transactions made up 5.6 bln drams (number - 291 transactions). To recall, ArCa cards have been serving through the processing system of Areximbank- Gazprombank Group since April, 2009, within the frames of the agreement with Armenian Card. The number of ArCa active plastic cards as of December 1, 2009, made up 274826 pieces or 62,5% of the total number of cards issued by the Armenian Card member-banks. Areximbank-Gazprombank Group has been issuing VISA International cards since 2002, as well as MasterCard - since 2005.
