Areximbank - Gazprombank Group is going to activate its participation in big energy projects


ArmInfo. Areximbank - Gazprombank Group schedules to activate its participation in big energy projects aimed at development of the country's Fuel and Energy Complex. As deputy Director General of Areximbank - Gazprombank Group Vigen Barseghyan told ArmInfo, this decision has been made by the bank within the frames of a new development strategy till 2012.

According to V. Barseghyan, use of the opportunities of Gazprombank as a financial- industrial group also extends the horizons of cooperation of Areximbank - Gazprombank Group with the companies representing strategic branches of industry. Barseghyan said the bank views an opportunity of participation in EBRD's energy saving programme, which is expected to be launched, as one of the steps of activation in energy projects.

To note, Gazprombank OJSC (Russia) is a sole shareholder of Areximbank - Gazprombank Group CJSC.
