Clientele of Areximbank-Gazprombank Group increases by 28%
ArmInfo. Areximbank-Gazprombank Group has provided its services to 46721 clients, of them 44211 individuals and 2510 legal entities - representatives of small, medium and large business. The press service of the bank told ArmInfo that as of 26 October 2010 and as compared with the same period of 2009, the number of clients increased almost by 28%.
According to the source, the bank's clients are large organizations - importers of oil products and gas, construction companies, hotel complexes, pharmaceutical companies, and a number of investment companies.
The large clients of the bank are ArmRusgasprom, Electric Networks of Armenia, Erebuni Plaza business center, Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University, Armenal Plant, Russian military base 102, etc.
In 2009 the Bank opened the Erebuni branch to serve the clients preferring highly comfortable services. In 2010 the Priority special package of services was introduced, which includes services of personal account manager, provision of international plastic cards Visa Gold or MasterCard Gold with annual servicing and a package of discount programs of IAPA and Countdown international systems, out of turn servicing at all branches of the bank, an opportunity to exchange currency at the special exchange rate, services of internet banking and SMS notices on Telecard banking operations with annual servicing, as well as an opportunity to receive special terms on deposits.
To note, CJSC Areximbank-Gazprombank Group has been operating since 1998 as a bank set up to support entrepreneurship and serving the financial flows between Russia and Armenia. Since 12 June 2009 Gazprombank (Russia) has been the owner of 100% of the bank's shares.
Over Jan-Sep 2010 Areximbank-Gazprombank Group demonstrated the highest growth of credit portfolio in the Armenian banking system - by 99,99% to 42.8 bln AMD (76% of the bank's assets).
As of 1 October 2010, the total liabilities of the bank amounted to 41.7 bln AMD, total capital -14.6 bln AMD, authorized capital -12.3 bln AMD. Over Jan-Sep 2010 the pretax profit of the bank made up 744.3 mln AMD. The bank has 15 branches, 6 of them in Yerevan and 9 in the regions.
