Ardshininvestbank prepares to introduce a new cobranding card product together with NUR bonus program
ArmInfo. Ardshininvestbank will shortly introduce a new cobranding card product – the NUR settlement bonus banking cards. Head of the Payment Cards Service Development Department of Ardshininvestbank David Makaryan told ArmInfo correspondent that these will be debit cards of the MasterCard international payment system connected with the NUR local bonus program.
According to him, NUR card holders will be provided accumulative bonuses by both the bank and the partner stores of the project when doing shopping and making use of services in accordance with the NUR program catalogue. "Introduction of various programs on stimulation of noncash settlements by payment cards will be the priority direction for the bank in 2011", he said.
Makaryan said that a total of 19200 cards were issued by the bank in 2010, 70% of them fell on the salary projects, most part of which is based on the use of ArCa local cards. The salary projects imply development of micro-credit retail. In this connection, the portfolio of card credits annually increased by 300%.
According to the latest data of Ardshininvestbank, the number of installed ATMs made up 56, and the launched POS-terminals - 132. The bank works with ArCa local cards, Visa and MasterCard international cards. As of 1 Oct 2010, the total number of active cards of Ardshininvestbank reached almost 63 thsd (4th position in the card market), of them about 50 thsd fell on ArCa (2nd position), and over 11 thsd - on Visa (11th position). By its branch network, the bank occupies the 2nd place in the banking system of Armenia (56 branches).
